About

I am currently attending Colorado Christian University as a Strategic Communication major, with a minor in English, and specializations in Public Relations and Marketing Management. I am currently the Student Body President of my university where I represent the voice of students and function as a communication channel between students and administration.

My passion for communication comes from the opportunities it presents to make a positive impact in people's lives. To me, communication is about understanding what motivates people and learning how to inspire them to action through a variety of avenues.

I believe in working hard and pursuing excellence in every part of life. No matter what challenge is presented, I am committed to pushing through the barriers and finding a solution. I am eager to continue developing my skills and challenging myself to learn new ones.

Competence

Competence is highly valued in the workplace and is an attribute I highly value in my own life. I understand the quality of work I do is a reflection of who I am and also of the organization I am working with. Effectiveness and efficiency are attributes I work hard to constantly improve. For me, competence also means that if there is a skill or process, I do not know or understand, I take initiative to understand it. Whether researching it on my own or asking the right people certain questions, I am always ready to push through a challenge and embrace the opportunity to learn.

Connection

Connection, to me, is valuing the individuals around me and the work they do. When you value someone, it means that you share a special kind of relationship with them. It means genuinely investing in them and getting to know them in a way that goes beyond the workplace. I see connection as a way to meet amazing individuals but also as an opportunity to learn from people who have different skillsets and connections than me.

Creativity

Creativity offers freedom, potential and opportunity. Nothing excites me more than possibilities, which is why I love creativity. Not only does creativity provide endless opportunities it invites you into a space where you can make those opportunities a reality. I love the creative space because it is a place where everyone is able to express themselves and I get to learn and experience different people's creative strengths.
